A VISIT FROM AUNT JAN AND KRISTI
We had a very nice visit with Kristi and Aunt Jan (Kyle's sister) this weekend. Kristi came Friday night (from MSU) and Aunt Jan drove up from Wiggins Saturday to visit with Kristi and then go with us to Mamie's upward basketball game. Nolan was not in the picture taking mood. This was about the only picture that was good.
Sunday we woke up and went to Sunday School and Church. It turned out to be such a beautiful day. The sun was out in full force. After rest time we headed to the park for a little sliding and swinging. We then headed to Academy Sports to get Mamie some shin guards for soccer. Nolan of course had to get a football. This means we have a total of three footballs. I am sure we will be getting more footballs as the days, weeks and years come.
O.K. I just want everyone to know that I did not dress Mamie or Nolan after church. Mamie wanted to dress herself and Nolan so I let her do whatever she wanted to do. She has on a summer skort, leggings that don't match, her school t-shirt and a white jacket, oh and let's don't forget her blue and brown shoes with socks. She thought she looked so cute. Nolan has on green sweat pants (that are too small) a blue t-shirt with baseballs/bats/gloves on it and a white jacket, just like "Sissy's". He wanted to wear this shirt to church but of course we didn't let him. So we told him he could put it on when we got back. So right when we walked in the back door he got Mamie to help him put it on. Watch out fashion world Mamie is going to be the next top fashion designer.
I have noticed both of them have grown up so much. Mamie wants to do everything herself and Nolan wants to try and do everything himself because he sees "sissy" doing things by herself.

Nolan looks so big in these pics. Love that you know how to post pics now of your sweet babies...
They do grow up soo fast. I love the pictures, too. Sounds like you had a nice, fun weekend.
Nolan looks like he is at least seven in that last pic!
There must have been something in the air Sunday because Mallory kept putting all these crazy clothes together too. She would come out in one get-up and then later she would have another on. Glad you captured yours.
thanks so much for my comment. it's been a tough week. aidan's fever came back tonight and right now it's 104. michael's up there holding him and he's groaning. it's so sad. we really don't need anything right now but prayer, i think. i mean, the kids really can't eat much right now. but thanks so much for offering. that really means a lot to me.
your kids are beautiful, by the way. we let molly dress herself from time to time, and it's always quite innovative!
