We have been planning on going to the Madison Christmas Parade on Saturday with the Young family, just like we always do. We get doughnuts, make coffee and hot chololate, bring chairs and blankets and just have a grand old time. Well, we got a call Friday night telling us that Peyton has the CHICKEN POXS and would have to cancel the entire weekend. I wasn't thinking about it when Kyle told me, but then it hit me that even though it was Parade weekend it was also Peyton's birthday party as well. Then it hit me later that night that Peyton came over Thursday night and was hugging on Nolan and playing with Mamie. Oh, top of that I HAVE NEVER HAD THEM EITHER.... Oh, well that is something that we can't worry about. I just feel sorry for Ann, because she has a 11 month old and they say that he is going to get them because he hasn't even had the shot yet. He turns one at the end of December. Well we woke up Saturday morning went and got doughnuts for us and the Young family, took them by their house and we went to the parade. Nolan had a blast watching the firetrucks and policemen. After the parade we went a got our Chirstmas tree. It is a very tall and skinny tree, but Mamie liked it so we got it. Nolan didn't care to much about looking for a tree, he was to busy watching the guys cut the ends of the trees for everyone else tree. I will have to say this, Nolan is ALL BOY!!!!! So we got home, put the tree up, loaded up the family and headed down to Wiggins. Kyle was in another dirt bike race and I decided to tag along and see what the big-to-do was. Well, we went to the race and it was a nice day just to be outside. It wasn't too hot and it wasn't cold at all. Just a nice breezy day. I didn't know what to except, but we had fun. It was loud, and the bikers all had to ride this course through the woods. We sat pretty much at the start line and could see them all ride past us. The double "A's" (the good guys) very fast and Nolan just sat there wided eyed watching them. Well they came by, then Kyle's brother came by and I thought well Kyle should be coming by soon. We sat and sat and sat waiting. Well everything ran through my mind, then he came over the hill. It was kind of funny because I have never seen them like that, I have seen them ride before but not with hills and small trails and other bikers around anyway, he came over the hill and Corban said "there is uncle Kyle going slower than Christmas". Nolan sat up and said "there he is, there he is". Boy was I over joyed. Kyle stopped infront of us and wanted some water. I told him I almost came looking for you, but then up came over the hill. He said "I RIDE SAVE, not like all these other guys". Again, this is just something you will have to see.
So, we had an eventful weekend. Let's just hope if we get the chicken pox it will be this week and it will not be as bad. I am still going to have to decorate the tree and other household duties. I know that Kyle had fun at the race even if he didn't finish and I will have to say that I did have fun watching all of it, but I also will have to say I will not be going to every race in the future. I will go to some, but not all of them. It just wears you out because you get home so late on a Sunday.

Thanksgiving in Monroe, LA
The Sunday before Thanksgivng we took Mamie over to Monroe, LA to stay with her cousin Margaret Ellis. From what I hear they had a wonderful time. Kyle, Nolan and I drove back over for Thanksgiving and it was just a wonderful day. Leigh Ann and Stacey (sister and brother-in-law) were such wonderful host. Stacey's family was there along with the Epting family. There was a chill in the air, but they had the fire blazing and the heaters going outside under the out door kitchen. It was very nice. Leigh Ann had everything just right. Just like she always does. Anyway, after a delicious lunch the Ainsworth family loaded up and drove home.
We all awoke early Friday morning and headed to Starville for THE EGG BOWL. My sister-in-law made plans back in June for all of us to meet up and go to the game. Our niece goes to school there and it was just a way for everyone to get together for the Holiday. We all arrived at Kristi's apartment and headed for the game. Our tickets were very high and as we got up there Kyle's face was white as a sheet. See, he doesn't like heights. My sister-in-law came up right behind and gave him tickets that were at a lower level, which he took and ran. I didn't see him or Nolan until after the game. Of course the game was great until the 4th quarter when State decided they needed to start playing football. I am so glad State didn't play like they did in that 4th quarter, because if they did the might Rebels would have lost BIG. Anyway, we all had a great time at the game and then later at Kristi's apartment. Mamie had fun yelling "GO Ole Misss Bulldogs" and then Kyle taught Nolan how to say "Maroon/White". I said "oh, no you don't say that, you say Hotty Totty". So Nolan started yelling "Maroon/White, Hotty Totty" then he would just look at us. Mamie thought it was funny and she started yelling the same. So I guess our children will just be confused through out there lives on what to say at THE EGG BOWL (if we go to another one). We drove home that night and spent the rest of the weekend doing nothing.
So Thanksgving and the Egg Bowl has come and gone. Now we are looking forward to Christmas and New Years, which I must add is getting here quick.
Oh and to my new friend that got engaged over the holidays. CONGRATS TO YOU!!!!

MISLETOE 2007!!
Well, Misletoe has come and gone for 2007. I had my shift Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m, which is fine because I did all shifts in one day. I am truly amazed at how many women can fit under one roof. It is fun just to watch all the ladies come and go with arms full of stuff. Things these ladies can't live without. I did a little shopping myself, but only a little. Compared to all the other ladies and some men, I didn't get anything, just one or two small bags. I have thought about one car load of ladies I was watching load the car. I think there was about four or five ladies in one SUV from LA and they took about an hour just to load and unload the car so that all the gifts and ladies could fit into one car and head back to LA. It was a funny site.
Saturday rolled around and the Ainsworth family didn't do one thing. Which I am thankful for, because from here on out every weekend we have stuff to do. I had to return something to the mall and Ms. Mamie wanted to come with me. Well, I made the mistake going by Libby Lou and Ms. Mamie just had to go in. She touched everything in the store, she wanted to get her hair done and we just didn't have time and on top of that they were having a birthday party for a little girl. LET'S JUST SAY IT WAS WILD IN THAT PLACE!!!!!!!!!! I told Mamie that I would think about bringing her back Sunday after church. Well, after church she kept on and on about wanting to get her hair done. So I gave in and took her to get her hair done. She had sooooo much fun and I am glad that I took her. It gave me time just to be with her. I told her since she got her hair done she could wear it to school on Monday. She was very excited about that. So she woke up Monday with her hair still in a bun and she was ready to go. If I could afford it, I would have her hair done everyday just to get her out of bed so fast.
I was off yesterday for Veterans Day and I had a good day. My friend Jennifer got me back into sewing and I am loving it. I have made about 5 pair of pants for Nolan and about 2 pair for Mamie. I need to learn how to applique and then I will be ready to go.
I am just glad that Misletoe 2007 has come and gone, that I got to spend some much needed time with Ms. Mamie (Nolan's time is coming) and that I am back into sewing. Oh, and I am LOVING my new job.

New Job!!
Well, today was the day I started my new job with The Court Appeals of Mississippi as a Judicial Assistant. I have learned alot and I still have brain freeze. I know that I am going to enjoy it here, because everyone is so helpful and everyone one is just so nice. It is so quite here and that is just something I am going to have to get used to. Which I hear that I will. The phones hardly ever rings, which is nice because I can figure out what I am doing without being pulled every directions. There are a couple of things I am going to miss about being with the Chancery Court, but let me tell you the phones are not going to be missed at all. I am going to miss having email and miss being able to contact people that way, but I will get over that.
Anyway, for now I have enjoyed my first day and I look forward to enjoying it for many years to come.

Fall Annual Conference
I had to attend the annual fall conference for the court administrator and trail judges last Thursday and Friday. I am glad that it is over. I met two very nice ladies at this conference Nancy from Yazoo City and Teresa from Clarksdale. We went to dinner, Nancy went back up to her room early, but Teresa and I went and listen to a band. WE HAD A BLAST!! I woke up the next morning to travel back to go on a field trip with Mamie's class. We went to the pumpkin patch. All the children got their pumpkins and it was a wonderful day for spending time with Mamie and her classmates.
Saturday afternoon The Ainsworth family packed up and went to Sharon, MS to Kathy Wall's mother's farm house. Kyle brought his dirt bike and rode it for ever. The Carpenter Family and the Fisher Family joined us later for a little fun as well.
So I am glad the annual conference has come and gone. I also glad I will never have to attend another one again. I HAVE A NEW JOB and I will be leaving this job Ocober 31st!!! I glad we had a wonderful weekend with the Wall Family, the Carpenter Family and the Fisher Family. All is well with me right now!!!!!!

Weekends come and go............
Well, once again we had a wonderful weekend. We started off with Friday night football at Ridgeland High School, it was homecoming and Mamie just had to go. In fact we went to the parade Thursday night and her school got the spirit award. She didn't know what that meant, but she seem to be excited about it. Well, Ridgeland was winning when we left at the top of 3rd quarter, I think it was 34 - 0........ I don't pay attention to the games, I like to look around and watch people. I am sure someone is watching me...................
About two months or so ago, I decided I wanted to start doing things for others. So I got with my friend Ann and asked her if she wanted to start a team to walk and raise money for the Breast Cancer Walk. Our goal was to raise $400.00, but we raised $700 and something. I can't remember the final count. I do know Saturday's walk raised $85,000.00, just for that walk. Ann's mother is a survivor, so we walked for her and in memory of my grandmother. We had fun walking it was me, Mamie, Cam, Ann, Michael, Peyton, Nana, Papa, Laurie, Kyle and their daughter Kaylee Grace. My Kyle and Nolan didn't go. Kyle said that Nolan played on the tennis courts the entire time and watched the Firetrucks that was there. We are already making plans for next year. We want to get as many people as we can to come out and walk with us.
The Ainsworth family made it Church for the first time in about a month!! After Church we went home and cook hotdogs on the grill and ate outside.
I just think back about Mamie wanting to go to the Ridgeland High School game and she is not even the age for all that. She is growing up right before my eyes. Then I remembering seeing all the young and older ladies at the Cancer walk that are survivors and they just seem to live life to the fullest. Which is something I need to do. Then on Sunday spending time with my family, which is something I enjoy to the fullest!!!

Birthday Parties, Pumpkin patches and Hayrides
This weekend was filled with tons to do. We started off the weekend at a surprise birthday party for Hayley Lundy. She turns the BIG 40 today. We had so much fun, and I got to catch up with some old friends.
Saturday was such a beautiful day. Our Sunday school class met up at the Nichols-Boyd Pumpkin Patch in Brandon. The children all had such a wonderful time, picking pumpkins, swinging on the swings and just running around having fun. After the pumpkin patch we headed to a birthday party for Jacob Dunaway. We were a little late, but just in time for the cake and ice cream and for the children to play a little bit harder.
Sunday rolled around and Kyle headed to his dirt bike race somewhere out from Hattiesburg. Mamie, Nolan and I headed to Krispy Kreme for some Doughnuts and chocolate milk. The children had a fun time watching the doughnuts being made. When we got home Mamie and Nolan were sugared up!! So I opened the back door and they ran and played all morning and afternoon long. My sister Leigh Ann and niece Margaret Ellis stopped by on the way back from Oxford. Mamie and Margaret Ellis had such a blast playing. They wouldn't let Nolan play with them and of course he got mad. They left to head home to Monroe, LA and we all took a small nap. We woke up just in time to go to the Mayo's Farm for another Hayride and Pumpkin picking. Again, we had such a wonderful time out at the farm and it was such beautiful weather. We gathered up pumpkins and gords. I even picked a eggplant, which I am hoping that it is fit to eat. We got home to find Kyle back from the race, he didn't do so good. Only got finished with one lap. Better luck next time. I was just so thrilled that he made it home in one piece.
As you can tell we had a full weekend of fun. Thanks to Lundys for a wonderful time at the birthday party, to April for getting our Sunday School class trip together, to Lisa for the invitation to Jacabo's birthday party and to the Mayo's for another year at the farm. And most of all Thank you God for blessing us with a beautiful weekend so that we could be with friends and family.

HOT DOGS AND A MOVIE..
On Monday nights Kyle plays racquet I always try to come up with something for Mamie and Nolan to do. So, yesterday when I picked up Mamie she said she wanted hotdogs and tator tots. I told her we could have a picnic in the den and watch a movie. She put some beach towels down and got ready for the movie (after taking baths, they were both nasty from cc ranch and daycare). We watched Nemo, which Nolan calls "Eeeemo". Nolan was so cute, every time a fish would swim by his little eyes would just get wider. All of a sudden a fire truck came down our street and Nolan had to go out and look at it. So we went outside and watched the fire truck, the man even turned the lights on for us. The truck stopped in front of the older ladies house on the corner. I am hoping that everything is alright. Mamie is so thoughtful she said "oh momma I hope she is o.k. Should we go check on her". I told her no that is what the firemen were for. She said "well I will say a little prayer for her tonight". I told her that would be just fine.
So next time you all want to have a picnic indoors, get out the beach towels, hotdogs and watch a movie. It really is FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ( I will have pics later)

Weekend on the Coast..
Well we headed to the Coast on Friday afternoon for Homecoming in Wiggins. Our neice got Queen!!!!! She was all excited and so was everyone else. On Saturday Kyle and I were to spend the day in Gulfport just doing whatever we wanted to do or should I say whatever I wanted to do since it was my birthday Sunday!!!! Well, we got down there and it was Crusin on the Coast. Let me tell you all if you want to just go and watch people that was the place to be. I laughed so hard my side started hurting. There were ladies that just didn't need to be out and about. I told Kyle I would definitely start going to the gym. I don't consider myself a big person, but after seeing what I saw, let's just say I just don't want to get that way. Well, we drove down the coast looking for a room. We started in Gulfport, back to Bay St. Louis and we ended up in Ocean Springs. So we stayed in the car for about 4 hours just looking for a place to stay. Of, course by that time I was just ready to get out of the car all together. I think, well I know Kyle wanted to as well. We went to Anthonys Under the Oaks for dinner and it was very good. We started laughing because we had no children (they were in Wiggins) and we couldn't come up with anything to do. We just went back to the room I went to sleep and Kyle watched the LSU/Florida game. What a big weekend we had!! We woke up Sunday and headed for Wiggins to pick up our other neice Kristi, she rode with us Friday. Anyway, we picked her up, picked up the children and headed to Ridgeland. We got back home and then I got sick. Yes, I got sick on my BIRTHDAY. I am thinking it is from all the rich type food that I ate. So even though we were planning a wonderful weekend hanging out on the Coast with no children. Hate to say it, but I didn't have fun at all!!! Some parts were fun, but the most of it was NOT...
