not strep

well, mamie doesn't have strep thank goodness, but she does have a very red throat and a cough. the doctor gave us some meds. i begged for a shot, mamie would just look at me with wide eyes, like mother stop begging for something that is not going to happen to you. then when the doctor said "no shot because she didn't have strep", she looked very relieved. so she has been laying in my bed watching the disney channel, and i am talking all day long. i got back from choir with a frosty from wendy's and i am sure that will make her feel a little better. anyway, for now she will stay home tomorrow and i am hoping that she will return to school on tuesday.
